- smuggling of pirate VHSs, CDs and DVDs and putting it on the market
- illegal public playback due cable networks
- ripping protected DVDs to one of popular zipped formats
- illegal copying and putting on the market (sale, lending) of the movies
- illegal projections of the movies in cinemas,
- unauthorized retransmission of the programs in cable networks.
The most dangerous movies frauds are made every day in the internet. Copying of a single movie takes from one to dozens hours. It comes from the speed of the connection. After that is the movie usually burned on the CD or DVD and copied again. Very often is the movie in web before the premiere in polish cinemas for free or for a small charge.
Because of that a lot of us lose: movie producers, cinemas owners, movie distributors and treasury.
